How we approach Art and Homeschooling!

About the Founder

My name is Krizia, I am the founder and instructor behind Words In Color. With a Master’s in Fine Arts and 20+ years working with young and aspiring artists, I create experiences that blend creativity, emotional expression, and skill-building.

As a homeschooling mom, I’m passionate about preparing the next generation with confidence, strong values, and creative thinking. Through Words In Color, I design spaces where kids and adults feel inspired, empowered, and free to express themselves through art and meaningful connection.

Where Creativity, Purpose, and Innovation Shape the Future

At Creative Founder's Institute, we believe education should do more than inform—it should transform.

Our program is designed to build the whole child—emotionally, intellectually, creatively, and spiritually—through a strong faith based foundation, a STEAM-based curriculum, and deeply engaging project-based learning experiences. We are preparing students not just for school, but for life.

In a world that is rapidly evolving, our mission is clear:
A future-focused micro-school where students learn entrepreneurship, AI, leadership, creativity, networking, and real-world business skills through hands-on experiences, mentorship, and innovation.

🎨 The Power of Art as Education

At the heart of Word’s In Color is a deep belief:

Art is not just a subject—it is an extension of the mind and soul.

Our art program is intentionally designed to support growth from the inside out, combining technical skill development with emotional, cognitive, and creative expansion.

In our classrooms, art becomes a space where students:

Think critically and solve problems creatively

Develop fine motor skills and coordination

Build confidence and self-esteem

Process emotions and reduce stress

Reconnect with joy, curiosity, and purpose

Through therapeutic art practices, students are given the opportunity to pause, reflect, and reset—returning to their lives with greater clarity, confidence, and resilience.

🌱 A Philosophy Rooted in Growth and Individuality

We recognize that every student is unique—with their own voice, experiences, and potential.

Our role as educators is not to direct, but to guide, mentor, and cultivate.

We build our learning environment on three foundational principles:

The Teacher as a Guide
Facilitating discovery, encouraging independence, and supporting each student’s personal journey.

Curiosity as the Driver of Learning
Honoring each child’s natural creativity and allowing it to shape their development and exploration.

A Culture of Respect and Expression
Creating a safe, supportive environment where ideas, individuality, and creativity are valued.

💡 Learning That Is Meaningful and Relevant

We believe students learn best when education connects to their lives.

Our curriculum integrates:

Real-world applications

Personal storytelling and expression

Interdisciplinary learning across subjects

Collaborative and individual project work

Students are encouraged to take ownership of their learning—setting goals, contributing ideas, and actively shaping their creative and academic experiences.

This approach fosters:

Intrinsic motivation

Deeper engagement

A lasting love for learning
